I’ve been in contact with wood and woodcarving for a long time, as well there was something about water that attracted me. So idealy I would be working with something that connects both of my passions. Paddle boarding has been gaining popularity in the past years and it struck me as an obvious choice. It’s a calm motion, being close to the water and usually astonishing views. Who’s up?

At that time, variety of paddleboards were on the market, but none made locally and of local material. Then it took a lot of time, patience and wood dust. Some scratching behing the ear, more thinking and more wood dust. When I made the first sup, everybody was surprised how stable and beautiful it was. It’s wood carving, searching for improvement and optimizing ideas. While having fun.
After that every member of the family and close friends became ‘beta tester’. We used every family trip or a sunday escape to try out and test what works best. And we continue that, cause we figured out it’s a great together time.
